How CNC Machining Works?
CNC machining begins on the computer where the designer prepares a part using CAD software, enters the computer's 3D file to determine the routing of the milling machine, places the block of material on the machine, holds it in place using hydraulic clamps, allows the milling machine to run, and when machining begins, the cutting tool makes contact with the workpiece to cut away layers of material. The tool and/or workpiece is moved or rapidly rotated as directed by the G-code to cut in the exact location until the part is complete.
